Not long back ,

I agreed on doing a video & photo shoot with my one & only favorite best salon , J7IMAGE ♥ ! I had the photo shoot done with Lindsay & Cherie while the video shoot alone as J7IMAGE actually filmed down the entire process of getting my hair done with them again , so when it's up , I'll put it up on another blog post which I'll explain why later ! 

As it is a shoot for J7IMAGE , 

my hairstyle & color was already planned before hand and it is supposed to suit the theme which is the 'Dolly Look' for me ! So basically I just had my hair done solely for the shoot itself , so later on this month , I'll get my hair done officially with them AGAIN hahaha .

And being my usual self ,

I always love surprises . I kept telling them NOT to tell me what colors they're doing for me that day so here's an instavideo of my hairstylists and I that day , from there you can also see my hair was still black ! 

I love all of them ♥♥♥ !!! Always so nice to me :p 

 Sooooooooooo straight away we started the video shoot by me sitting down on the salon's chair (I actually even sat on a baby chair so I can appear taller on screen wtf) ! I wasn't allowed to do anything at first , no phones , no food nothing . But after awhile I was allowed to HAHAHA my hands are always itchy . It was really tough for me to be sitting in front of the camera 8 hours straight as I'm not somebody who can sit still LOL . 

What's more , I didn't had

any chances to snap pictures that day ... but yes so a camera was in front of me the whole time like this one : 

Since my hair was in black , 

creating a brand new look is like starting from scratch , lots of bleaching , lots of coloring . Thank god J7IMAGE uses organic hair products , or my hair would be so much more damaged ! I love how they make sure they give their best to every single customer and showering their 'HAIR' with concern HAHAHA . 

So now , presenting to you ,

the final product of the 'Dolly Look' by J7IMAGE : 

I mean really , this is what they

are , Art of Hair . Every single hairstylists there have got passion for hairstyling , it is really not just a job to them . They actually enjoy their job EVERYDAY like one big family , creating new artworks out of our supposedly boring hair . 

A little background information

about J7IMAGE here , they are all very experienced hairstylists from different renowned salons who come together to open their very own salon . One of which even has up to 20 years of experience . Each of their stylists also specialize in different skills such as cutting , coloring etc .

So back to topic , 

my hairstylist Jeft wanted something dolly for me , so he ditched my boring side fringe and now I have bangs instead ! One side of my hair is bleached to blonde and layered with a slight tint of pink which is custom mixed by my stylist himself with FOUR different tones of pink ! 

Whereas the other side

 is bleached and dyed with a darker tone of hot pink which I really love , as it goes so well with the top layer of natural brown black that Jeft dyed for me in order to balance out my hair for a healthier look ! 

For my hair to be 

bleached so many times with them for a different look may sound pretty crazy . Which is why , treatment must always follow after , take good care of your hair ! J7IMAGE has a variety of different kind of treatments for you to choose from ♥

Happy Father's Day 2013 !

As you all know , Father's Day 2013 

is happening in two days time ! Our father is always the best in our eyes [for most of us] . We don't realize how important they are and all the things they've been doing for us ever since we were born . 

For me , my dad's 

already 63 years old this year . And I'm really extremely blessed to have a dad like him . Why ? See below :

Few days ago I also asked him , 

why did he become 'such a dad' he is today ? 

He replied , "Because I have been young too" 

See ? That's pretty much how my dad is and 

that's not all why I feel blessed to be his daughter . We're not rich , really . He have been working hard NON STOP for his family pretty much since he got married right ? And now that he is already in his 60s , he still continue working so hard for us even though my mom had passed away . 

He didn't just give up on us , 

he DIDN'T even complain at all . He didn't collapse , he had to stay strong for us . Imagine working so hard ALL YOUR LIFE just for your family without having breaks , supporting 4 kids , wife & a five-room flat . EVERYTHING is provided by him . We had maids when we were younger as well , huge expenses . Also , witnessing your wife pass away leaving you with 4 kids to raise .... all of us still had to study back then . Some in university , poly & me being a trouble kid back then . He was so worried . But did he complain ? No .

Except all of the above , 

he had NEVER hit any of us before . Usually parents do that to lecture their children etc . But in my family , my mom is the one doing so . My dad , NEVER EVER hit any of us before . For me , he only hit me ONCE and that's a fucking slap on my thigh because I refused to consume medicine when I'm having an extremely high fever . He feared for my health and had no other chance but to give me a slap on my thigh . 

And yes , it's just a slap on my thigh -_____- 

To add on 

a while later he gave me a slap on my thigh , 

he brought me into his room , sat down quietly , patted my shoulders and said in mandarin "I'm really sorry , I didn't mean to hit you . I didn't hit any of you since young have I ? I really didn't mean it , I did it because I fear you might become a idiot if the fever continues to accelerate & yet you don't consume the medicine at all" 

Just which dad apologizes after he hits you WITH A VALID REASON ? 

Besides all the above , 

don't you dare think he is a bad husband . Because he isn't . He's an amazing husband as well . Just not long ago , we were looking through photo albums at home & came across many photos taken by my dad in the past . And this is what he posted on Facebook : 

Translation on top paragraph : My dear wife , I can only reminisce about us & the memories we had through old photos like this . Memories of us dating back then , still lingers in my mind and it will forever . The husband that loves you .

I know , he has a girlfriend now . 

But , he had never changed his phone lock screen/wallpaper which is always my mommy's photo . His girlfriend always tells me how my dad would secretly cry in the middle of the night because he really misses my mom so fucking badly . So what if he has a girlfriend ? Everyone needs company . You may say , I can accompany him . But having a partner than to a daughter is ALWAYS different . 

His girlfriend can be his 

listening ear , his pillar of support when he needs somebody . Whereas people like us , we can never take that kind of position . It's as good as saying , you lost your wife and people asks you to get your mom to accompany you instead . Is it the same feeling ? Obviously not . I would never blame my dad for having a girlfriend . He NEEDS somebody . He really do . 

So recently , 

my siblings and I came together and thought that for Father's Day this year , we would just do something different . It's always having a dinner , how boring can that be ? Father's Day is an OPPORTUNITY for you to show appreciation . It is NOT the only day where you can show it but it is an opportunity . Right ? 

We settled down with an idea 

of heading to Sentosa to have some fun ! But all of us are not free on the actual day and the only day where my dad is free would be on weekends . So last weekends , our plans went well and we headed off to Sentosa ! Yay ! Amazing LOL . The only 'flaw' is that , my second sister wasn't around as she went JB . 

P/S : I brought my DSLR that day but when I reached home there were some hiccups with my memory card and ALL the photos were gone which I was so depressed and ranted about it on Twitter the other day . My apologies for the lack of photos ): So I could only use the photos taken by my phone and daddy's phone ! And yes I also had a new haircut and color !

We decided to have lunch

at TCC before heading into Sentosa !

My dad loves using Camera and has been using Canon since ages ago before I was even born when he was dating with my mom . The photo of him and my mom above in this blog post was also taken by Canon . So when I had interest in cameras , he's extremely supportive LOL .

After having a super fulfilling lunch at

TCC and browsing at the Canon shop , we headed to Sentosa & I had to buy the pass just because my ez-link card doesn't have sufficient fund in it LOL . Guys , before you head to Sentosa , please remember to top up your ezlinks so you wouldn't have to queue to buy a bloody pass . 

When we reached Sentosa , 

the first thing we did was to go for the Carlsberg thingy . The one that turns 360 degree and up for you to see the view of Singapore ! 

It's my first time being on this ride & it's air condition based but rather squeezy . 

Next up , we went to experience all the 4D rides . 

First was Desperados , then the Extreme Log Ride , lastly was Journey 2 ! 

All the 4D rides are really SUPER FUN ! 

It's a must go in Sentosa ♥ I really don't wanna elaborate much here because there's just too much to say ! You gotta go experience it yourself :D 

After which , we went over to the beach for a walk ~

My face cannot maintain .

But really , this bridge is so super crowded , I just decided not to finish the walk since I had walked on this so many times in the past .

Then all of us started complaining 

feeling thirsty etc and we stopped by 7-11 to get drinks and I got a free hello kitty figurine from the cashier ! I was still hoping to get the heart shape one and I really got it , that moment I felt super lucky and half-dead-me felt super hyper all of the sudden . 

Charged up for the day again ! 

Conclusion , we went to Macdonalds for round two lunch ! 

Thought we would be able to get hello kitty there as well but wtf it's sold out island wide . But the way my dad ate was priceless :

 So what's next ? 

It's LUGE ! My FAVORITE leisure in Sentosa . 

We sat on sky ride & LUGE after that , super exciting and fun ride . I've always love it , how about you ?

On sky ride still can take photo and act chio , super sam pat lor ! I was so afraid that my slippers , phone and everything would drop . Considering I wasn't holding my bag then .

Sky Ride .

After LUGE & Sky Ride , 

it was exactly the time where we can watch Songs of  The Sea . The last time I watched it was when I was super super young . And now that I finally watched it again , I realized there's quite a big change in the show itself . And I don't realize that Singapore actually put in a huge effort in terms of attractions and entertainment in Singapore for tourism . Singapore is such a amazing country , I feel lucky to be a Singaporean . 

And then , I felt shameful of myself because , 

as a Singaporean , I had never personally went to experience all the attractions and sight seeing in Singapore and see it in a tourist's perspective . And one day , I'm gonna do that , I believe I would know even more about Singapore and learn to appreciate how amazing and beautiful Singapore is . 

We finally went back to Vivo & had dinner

at Sushi Tei . That's when we wished dad Happy Father's Day . 

It's such a memorable day even though all photos taken with my camera that day were gone , but memories stays with us forever . Love your parents , show them that you care & appreciate for whatever they had done . Father's Day is around the corner and that's a good opportunity for you . Let's go ! ♥ 

Hello JB !

I thought I needed a change 

for my hair to a darker tone . Like brown or something ! I guess I'll be leaving bright hair colors for quite sometime ...... so yeap where else cheaper to dye my hair other than JB ?! Hahaha my boyfriend & I arranged a day off to JB early in the morning ! I guess we left about 10/11AM that day ? But both of us only slept for a few hours ! I was determined to go though . 

LAST DAY WITH PINK/BROWN HAIR THEN :

We took a cab to Woodlands Custom and make our way to 

Malaysia ourselves ! It was such an amazing start because it's the first time Kaiming and I decide to go in on our own ♥ !

CAMERA OF THE DAY :

Decided to use SONY Cybershot because I didn't wanna carry my DSLR into JB ! ^^ 

It was a gift from dad though ♥

 When we finally reached Malaysia , 

we took a personal car to KSL shopping mall (as in a car but not a taxi however I still need to pay but we already negotiated how much we will pay) ! Before we took the car , we've negotiated with the driver about the price from custom to KSL mall which is only RM15 !!! Whereas if I take a Taxi I would have to pay more . Their meter on their taxi jumps like mad seriously . 

I was so hungry when I reached KSL !

I just wanted to have breakfast badly . Kaiming and I settled down on a really cute shop which sells taohuey and mini snacks they make ! Haha we had the small portion of nasi lemak which was mad cheap and their taohuey drink AND taohuey is SUPERB . It's so fucking good especially the drink ! Totally can fight with Laoban !

 

But the nasi lemak jialat la , 

besides the fact that it's of a VERY small portion , I asked before hand what's inside , they said "One kind with egg , one kind with chicken" . I thought egg as in full egg or scramble egg . But ended up on tiny half egg . LOL . But cheap ! 

After having a light breakfast , 

we just went all around KSL mall to see which salon I'm supposed to go to . Because firstly , I came KSL because my sister did her hair there and she recommended me to go ! Secondly , I've NEVER been to KSL , let alone doing my hair here . Thirdly , she(sister) didn't tell me the name of it only that it was "completely black-themed" . But I managed to find the salon (the salons in KSL are all at the same level) , and it's called "KIMLY'S HAIR STUDIO" !

I kept the receipt when I'm home 

that's why I knew which shop I went to . LOL . I headed inside only telling the person how damaged my hair is and I wanted to dye my hair into a shade of dark brown with the best treatment there . So I settled with a dark shade of brown hoping that it would turn out good but ................................. the person told me that if I were to dye brown over my pink hair , it would turn GREEN ? 

I told him I HATE GREEN .

Why would I want green hair ?! But I went along with it still , and after treatment and dying which was only about an hour , my hair really turned green -______-  . But it didn't looked that bad according to my friends and family ! 

END RESULTS OF DYING BROWN OVER MY ORIGINAL HAIR COLOR PINK : 

IT REALLY TURNED GREEN ! So only my black hair roots becomes brown which is the actual color I wanted .

 The sleepy head was sleeping while waiting for me to be done though ....... hehe so cute ♥ 

Both Kaiming and I was very shocked la

when the hair stylist start blow drying my hair and all because it's like "wtf so the end color is really green ?!" Kaiming still thought I decided on another color while he was sleeping .  But when my hair was silky smooth and all , I can't be bothered with the color , I just love how smooth it is ! 

However that was the ONLY time

where my scalp hurts while I was dying my hair . In the past even when I bleached for 5 times , I didn't even felt a single sense of pain AT ALL . So I was shocked when I felt pain on my scalp for the first time . I guess my scalp is damaged (finally you might say) . Sigh . 

TIME FOR ROUND TWO SAYS THE EMPTY STOMACH WITH BEAUTIFUL HAIR ! 

Yeap we went toast box !

Sweetest boy tried his best to give me all the whites because I don't eat egg yolk . Thank you love ♥

He was transferring all the whites to me LOL

I made him gave himself some egg whites . Because eating egg yolks only is kinda bad right I heard ?

After lunch and walking around KSL with some mini shopping because stuffs there are cheap , 

we decided to take a taxi back to custom and back into Singapore . I don't why , because every time I dye my hair or anything with chemical , I tend to fall sick or have fever . And I was feeling so unwell after I did my hair then , otherwise I would be having seafood at Malaysia Sentosa that day with love already :@ :@ :@ :@ so angry with myself LOL punish me pls .

At night in Singapore that day , Kaiming & I 

had Hong Kong Cafe for dinner ! Yummzzzzzzzzzzz ♥  

Haha I think after dying my hair to a darker tone 

plus having side bangs gives me a very different look and feeling to others ! What do you think ?
