SHORT HAIR FOR ONCE

LOL YES 

I'M FINALLY HAVING SHORTER HAIR FOR ONCE .  

Every single time I go into a salon , 

I emphasize a lot to the hairstylist not to cut so much of my hair & I'm always envied for my long hair (AYEEE ? HAHAHHA show off yes show off a bit . KIDDING LA) . But just few days ago , I had a sudden urge to snip off my hair & I did ! 

Few days back , 

I headed down to Bugis with Amanda to buy some of the things she wants but somehow I sort of bought more things than her when I entered BHG which is having sales ! But before anything , I took an insta video of myself before heading out of house . My dog barked suddenly halfway through , be mentally prepared hahaha here it is :

I tried a new

eye makeup that day though . Doesn't differ much from the usual ones but still hahaha . So here's my eye makeup for that day : 

After we're done

with the mini shopping at Bugis around late afternoon , we cabbed over to Far East Plaza where Amanda wants to get her hair dyed . NOW , that's when I felt the urge to really just cut my hair . Whenever I have my haircut , the difference is almost always nothing . It's always the color that changes . (You can refer to old blog posts for my old hairstyles) . Never once in my life in recent years did I have a significant change in hair length . 

But on that day , I DID IT . 

16CM worth of my hair (6.5INCH) WAS GONE . My hairstylist measured it for me LOL . 16CM can you believe it . I know it may not mean a lot to you guys but it's so fucking something to me !!!! I felt so crazy and sort of regretted immediately after that . Buuuuuuuuuuuuut , for these few days many people told me it's nicer which makes me feel happier now too ^^ 

It's nice to have lighter

hair though . Cause when I tie my hair into a ponytail , it's so so so much easier :D Here's a before and after photo of my hair length :

After getting

both our hair done , we had dinner at Far East Plaza before heading home . I still can't decide on what color to have next . Black , maybe ? HAHAHHA . Big difference from the past , I know .

Wear a Maxi

It's been quite

some time since I last headed out to town for a walk . And there was this day where I was already about to sleep IN THE MORNING & then suddenly Alandrea called me , after contemplating for a loooooooooong time , I decided okay , I'm gonna give up my sleep & head to town for a walk with Alandrea ♥ ! 

Y'know what they always say , cabby is the one stop camwhore booth for girls LOL

Before heading out
to meet Alandrea at SCAPE , I was in a complete dilemma on what to wear ! Considering that it's been quite some time since I head out plus ........ I feel that my wardrobe has been a disaster ! And then I randomly picked out a maxi dress which I've never worn before & a crazy thought just flashed through my mind that I should wear this . A MAXI DRESS .

Why is it so shocking for me to be wearing a maxi ?
I'M SHORT . DUH . I don't have a perfect woman's figure , super ultra short like about 148CM LOLOL ?? So wearing a maxi for me have always been a big no no even though I love love love maxi dresses so much (':

But this crazy
idea flashed through & I thought okay I should just wear it out since nobody would be looking I guess ? And yes I did . Now tell me , who says I can't wear maxi dresses now HAHAHHAHA . Okay la let me thick skin a bit okay ?! But here's my outfit to town that day :

I love this sponsored Dreamcatcher necklace from SolitaryRide though ! They sponsored me this necklace long time ago along with other products but this is my favorite amongst all ! Glad that I chose the brown over the black one :D

Before heading out
I actually told Alandrea I will be wearing a maxi & she told me she would join me too HAHAH . So here's her outfit that day with me :

Alandrea & I
pretty much spent the first 30 minutes of our meeting taking pictures ! Actually it's just me who keep wanting her to take pictures for my ootd which I always post on Instagram without fail when I head out HAHHA . And then it was so contagious that Alandrea starting taking pictures again LOL .

When we reached SCAPE , 

we straight away headed over to Cineleisure's Hong Kong Cafe for lunch ! However only Alandrea ate though as I wasn't feeling hungry yet . I still remembered she ordered some sort of maggie mee there LOL . Everyone says that it's stupid to be ordering 'maggie mee' over at Hong Kong Cafe but sometimes it's really too irresistible !!! 

I can't say our day have

been very interesting , but it wasn't boring either . Because Alandrea & I can just sit down and do nothing & we would be talking noooooooon stop LOL . The next thing we did after having lunch at HK Cafe was actually sitting down nearby Cineleisure & we started using our ask.fm HAHAHAHA . 

At that point of time

it seems like some people saw us over at town & have been spamming our ask.fm which I find rather interesting to always be communicating with you guys even though I don't know you guys personally . But all very friendly people ♥___♥ ! 

Alandrea just

waited for me to be done using my ask.fm and we headed over to Takashimaya initially to actually do some window shopping . But it turns out my stomach was growling and I really had to settle down somewhere quick to fill my starving stomach hahahah . It was evening by then , dinner time . But it was actually my breakfast , lunch and dinner since I didn't have anything before that .

After having dinner ,
Alandrea headed over to my place because I was already extremely exhausted . But we ended up singing KBOX at my place again HAHAHA . And had a really long heart to heart talk like none other . That's all that day , really simple kind of day but I feel very happy to spend my day just like this ^^ 

Anyway , I'm going to Space Invasion
at The Cathay (dhoby) later on at 3PM for an assignment ! So happy that they invited me over ♥♥ Been there once for their VIP launch with bloggers like Tigerlily & Qiuqiu , everyone else was so friendly ! If you happen to be at The Cathay , do visit Space Invasion at #03-15/16 :D  

A little surprise !

Hi everyone !!! ♥

 Hehe after I sort of graduated from Jteam , my group members (cool people who work so hard for all of us behind the scenes) decided to go have a celebration ! But before that , I received a call from Jteam's producer few days before the celebration to actually head down for a casting audition for an upcoming movie . So in the afternoon , I went & it was so fun because Shawn (producer) was there to accompany me !!! 

 

 

 

Super grateful

to have Shawn in my life lor , he help me with so many things during my days spent with Jteam and he is so funny hahaha . The audition happened quite some time back though but I just wanna say Shawn called me again one night . And here's how the conversation went : 

 

Shawn : Eh hello Chrysan ah ..

I'm sorry luh the audition ... really sorry luh 

 

Me : huh ? huh ? 

(in my mind thinking I most likely failed the audition if not why he keep apologizing about it ?!) 

 

Shawn : I'm sorry uh the audition .... YOU GOT THE ROLE !!!!

 

And my eyes instantly , 

O_______________________O , like u serious ? Love Shawn la ♥ !!!

 

 Okay I know it's not a big thing but I just 

want to share with my readers here in my blog , just like how I always did in the past no matter how small , big , stupid an issue can be ! That's how I gained readers in the first place isn't it ? Blogging about all sorts of silly experiences and writing every little detail down . 

 

 Ok back to topic !

So after audition that day , I went back home and must say that my journey back home was fucking dramatic and disastrous lor . Straight after my audition and a bit of chit chatting with Shawn , IT WAS RAINING LIKE MAD OUTSIDE and I had to like run to the nearest shelter which is actually super far and it's a bus stop . So ulu and don't have a taxi stand or anything like that , JUST A BUS STOP . 

 

I tried to get a cab 

and EVEN CALL A CAB but can't !!! And the buses at the bus stop were all numbers I don't recognize , I don't even know where it leads to (I hardly take buses more of MRT) . Then the rain keep pouring and stupid thunder shocked me a lot of times ! After a really long time , I thought no choice alr , so I just got on a random bus and alighted which is near a circle line MRT . God knows when I alighted , the rain is still bloody heavy and there was no way I can get to a taxi stand without a umbrella and the taxi stand was like 10 metres away from me only !!!! ): 

 

So many people 

having an umbrella but I just don't have one . At that moment I immediately told myself I MUST GO GET A CHIO UMBRELLA FOR MYSELF NEXT TIME . So I randomly took a bus again (a bus which goes to my house but takes a REALLY LONG TIME) . So I didn't plan to take it all the way to my house , but actually to a place where there is more decent shelter where I can get a cab . But after some time , the bus alr traveled to a place near my house and in the end I just bus all the way home lol . 

 

When I reached home , 

it was about 4plus in the afternoon and I was MAD HUNGRY . Decided to order Dominos Pizza with my boyfriend and god knows by the time pizza reach and done eating it was already 6plus in the evening and I am supposed to meet my group members from Jteam at 7PM at Cineleisure's KBOX FOR A FUCKING BUFFET !

 

Sibei suey , what's the point when I'm full from Pizzas alr and still have to go for buffet ): ? 

But when I reached
at 7plus at night , LOL I STARTED EATING AGAIN . Took so much food and keep eating crabs also lor !  I must say Kbox' buffet is actually really pretty good x: hehe . And out of no where , Hill took a photo of me eating while Chrisline and Yan Yee is singing ! (as seen below)

Chrisline had Hill's scarf on her body because she was feeling cold , but after awhile I actually conquered the scarf because I was freezing !!!!!!!!

Kenni with his cheque from Jteam hahaha show off !!!! (No la kidding) hahaha . It was sad that our team's editor , Jason didn't come ! Super miss him and he's like the hero of our group . If it wasn't for his editing skills , our film wouldn't be so good either ! Not siao siao one hor , he was awarded with the best video editor by Jack Neo and even won a cheque from Jteam just like how Kenny and I won the best supporting actor and actress award ! ALSO , our team won the Best film award as well :D

And I must say ,
I was so annoyed during part of the Kbox session because all of the sudden , all the songs sang by Kenny are Jay Chou songs ! Not that I don't like Jay Chou , I DO . BUT , ALL SONGS FROM JAY CHOU ARE U LIKE MAD HAHAHHAA . 

Oops , me showing off also LOL . Once in awhile show off a bit don't so judgmental la ): hehe got a cheque issued by Jteam also because I won the best supporting actress from Jack Neo ! And because of him and his wife , we got to sing at Cineleisure's kbox till morning without paying any extra fees and we gotten extra drinks as well !!!! Somemore we had buffet also ! But None of us forked out a single penny because it was all 'free' as we paid the basic fee using the money we received from the Best Film Award x: HAHAHHA . But I must say thank you to Director Jack neo & his wife for us to enjoy such privilege !

It was such a
great great day , well spent with my best group ♥ 
We headed home at 2AM because we didn't intend to sing till morning from the start , and if we really sang till 6AM (though we were given the privilege) , it's really not nice either . I was so worn out and tired , and I totally got no voice after singing so much x_________x

Pee Mak !

Hi everyone ! 

Starting this blog post with a Insta Video of myself as seen below ! Hahahaha (was taken at the end of the day actually) Follow me on Instagram/Twitter and you would know !

So not long ago , 

I went to Cineleisure to catch a movie called 'Pee Mak' ! 

I'm sure many of you have watched it or known/heard of , 

as it's a really VERY FUNNY HORROR SHOW . LOL , yes how can a horror movie actually be funny ?! But honestly , I'm really impressed by how this film can actually make me laugh throughout and give me goosebumps when necessary yet conveying a very clear message : undying love .

I'm the kind

of person that CANNOT watch horror/thrillers . I mean , I'm super timid and easily shaken/shocked/whatever/so on hahahaha . But I decided to give Pee Mak a try as I received so many positive comments from people all around and it makes me feel so curious about a 'funny horror love' movie ! 

To start off the day ,

Oh yes and before 

I left my home for the movie , I actually took a lot of self shots so beware !

LOL added fake tears to this picture because my bangs are getting so long !!! It's even longer right now , really gotta have it trimmed soon . But it's a good thing ain't it ? Shows that my hair is growing !

BUT WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT IT ): ? 

When I reached

Cineleisure , I didn't really had much time to do anything at all as I'm kinda 'just nice' for the movie so I went to the cinema straight ! Was so afraid that I kept trying to cover my eyes just in case there are any scary moments . Which typically looks like this : 

BUT YOU KNOW WHAT'S THE STUPID THING ?

I swear it's the worst habit of mine while watching horror shows !

Yes , I always try to cover my eyes with my hands while watching , but whenever I know something scary is gonna happen , I COVER , BUT I DON'T REALLY COVER MY EYES AT ALL . Why ? Blame it on curiosity ! LOL , scared and curious at the same time , so I try to cover , but don't really cover at all . Stupid . That's what I'm doing throughout the movie but laughing a lot !!!

In case you guys

are wondering (for those who didn't watch) , it actually have no scary parts at all . I'm somebody who's VERY timid . But really , no scary parts at all , no rotten faces , whatsoever ! Super safe to watch if you're afraid like me (-: 

After catching the movie

Pee Mak , which was extremely fulfilling , I went over to Wisma to have dinner ♥ ! Which was also my breakfast ): bad habit lol . No wonder I'm so unhealthy . Guess what I had ? 

It's Pepper Lunch ! 

Adding cheese is a must for me whenever I have pepper lunch , I mean , anything with cheese is just awesome . We all love Mozzarella don't we ? :D 

After a little chatting with my

friend , we decided to head home , Singapore can get real boring sometimes lol .

 Yes and on the side note , I actually found out that Pee Mak was filmed based on the original movie from Thailand as well called 'Nang Nak' , which is a very famous and popular one !! Nang Nak was filmed based on a famous Thai Legend , sorta like a myth . But many people believes it's true so this horror show is like true story !!! You can read up about the movie Nang Nak and the story's origin HERE .

It is a really interesting
legend , you wouldn't regret reading ! So basically Pee Mak is like the funny version of Nang Nak but with some twists in it . And did you know that the female lead in Pee Mak is also actually ZA's model in Thailand ? She's Davika Hoorne and she's only 21 years old THIS YEAR !!! Super pretty and all pls lol . 

Just in case
if you're wondering whether the original movie , Nang Nak would be scary then , I would say no . It doesn't have any gross or scary parts but definitely not funny like Pee Mak . But very touching as well and you can easily watch it on Youtube with subtitles !!! :D
