First of all, I have to apologise. I have to apologise to Shining for heading to her home salon with absolutely no idea what I wanna do to my nails, for the second time HAHA. But that's why she never fail to surprise me with a beautiful set of nails!!! Pretty nails makes us girls all happy, admit it! Since I didn't know
what kind of nails I want, I just told Shining that I wanted something shiny or maybe holographic! In general, just BLING HAHA. By the way, both Alicia and I share the same nail sponsor and hers looks great as well!!!! Ok sorry for digressing, so very quickly, Shining did all the basic work on my nails first, which is to keep my nails groomed, yay!

This IS my absolute favourite step of the classic gelish manicure. It feels soooooo comfortable! ♥

Being over at Shining's

home salon always makes me so happy. I love the environment, all pastel, girly and crazy comfy! I remembered how when I first got my nails done by her, she even allowed me to plug in my own set of favourite music onto her speakers! PLUS, Shining is more than just a very nice lady. She's also a certified manicurist that does crazy chio nails and is very professional as well! :D ♥

Shining told me that the design on my middle finger are actually called 'Sugar nails' and I absolutely love it! It looks SOOOOO much better in real life, really shiny with a hue of pink and I love it's texture too!

Although, you wouldn't be able to tell here but my fourth finger is actually holographic-like and iridescent in real life! Looks super pretty when seen from different angles and amazes me all the time! I was so fascinated when she painted that unique shade! :D 

All in all, I'm definitely satisfied with Shining's work.

Ohhhhhh good day earthlings!!!!!!!

Cannot believe I'm actually basking in happiness at 6am in the morning and I just have to blog about it. Truth to be told, I'm exhausted as hell right now. What to do? I'm revelling in my new set of gelish nails and I'm loving it more every second! Ok, before anything else, just allow me to quickly post a chio happy pic of myself below HAHAHA.

post. I'm sure you noticed! Despite that, please do not give less fucks to this post or it'll never do justice to my manicurist, @shiningnails. Firstly, I've to apologise for being a shallow person. Initially I had doubts about my manicurist. Why? Because it's a home-based salon. Many have this misconception that home-based salons are not as good as the nail parlours out there, including me. (Please read on and forgive me.)

Today, I'm telling you that it is NOT TRUE.

It goes without saying that there are certainly home-based salons out there that are not as professional and skilful as those of established nail parlours. But I take my hats off to my nail sponsor because I completely underestimated her as a professional manicurist! I reached her place without knowing what I want and all I told her was that I wanted something pastel, minimal dramatic huge blings and a touch of marble galaxy.

She was really attentive and voila! I got exactly what I asked for! ♥

It was such a pleasant

experience and I honestly can't wait to return to get my nails done by her already! I have to say, she was really precise and meticulous with her nail art and I'm absolutely amazed by how comfortable it was when she started removing my nail cuticles as she was so quick at it! Just in case you're wondering about the environment, it is nicely furnished and a little Liz Lisa themed. I kinda regret not taking pictures of the place and would do so the next time I'm there!! ^^

So you may ask, are the nail designs very limited since it's a home-based salon? 

No. In fact, I told Shining

that it is very risky of her to start a home salon because she've got a wide selection of everything! From nail colours to designs to the 'blings' and even customised 3D nail art! Not to mention, Shining is actually a certified mani/pedi instructor and uses a really good brand of LED lamp for gelish nails which easily cost her $400. (I was kpo so I asked HAHA.) With that being said, you can already imagine how nice it'll be to get our nails done by her. :D 

 I got home crazy happy

that day and started sending pics of my nails to my friends HAHAHA and I'm glad they all love it as much as I do!! Oh and my sister actually complimented my nails on the very same day, I was taken aback because she's someone with high expectations and I never expected her to grab my hands and say, "Eh? You do your nails already ah?! Nice leh!!!" Whoaaaaa I swear that made me even happier than I already was. T_T ♥♥♥

Omg super happy because

I did my nails with Mynte Fingers again last week ! The other time I had my nails done with her , I had really badass nails with all the comical nail arts on all of my fingers which requires a lot of effort and skills . So this time I told her I wanted something different , something sweet looking & related to cupcakes ♥

I really have got no

gelish manicure with Mynt and as usual , she's extremely meticulous with her work , from removing the dead cuticles to working on very small & delicate details of nail art designs she prepared for me . Many manicurists uses a stencil or like a stamp thing to transfer all of the designs onto your nails . However . what I realized about Mynt is that she owns the stencils but still prefers to draw nail arts on her own ! 

She's able to create

all sorts of designs as I've seen the samples she drew professionally at her home salon all by herself ! So if you're thinking of getting cartoon nail art like minions or even floral designs , Mynte Fingers can definitely help you with it :D 

Knowing that I like 

the color pink & ribbons , Mynt offered me ribbon gems that are available in all sorts of colors . I picked out 1 baby pink & 1 translucent pink but I didn't know which one to pick !!! So Mynt gave both to me on my nails HAHAHA . Pictures in detail :

Like what Mynt said , "happy nails for the happy girl" (': I always leave her home salon feeling all happy & satisfied with her awesome work ! Especially the part where she cleanses my nails , my nails instantly smells seriously good . I'm not sure why but her cleanser comes along with a really sweet smell LOL .

A tad bit of a perfectionist , but that's exactly what we , customers ask for :D

Nails ♥ !

I was so bored that 

one morning that I decided to pamper myself and give my nails a treat ! I am not an expert on nails , I even have problem shaping and painting nails myself ! Especially when I paint my right finger nails with my left hand , it always end up looking like this : 

Don't you feel me ?! Hahahha . 

So that morning I had trouble picking what colors to apply on , and tested out my top favorite colors , and from there , I picked myself neon pink ! I haven't tried neon pink at all and decided to give it a try (:

of letting it dry and all of that buffering time , here's how it looks :

And in case you're

wondering , yes I painted my finger & toe nails both with a mini bottle of O.P.I !! It's such a tiny bottle it's really cute , but it probably won't last a long time at all . Just imagine if you're painting your nails and then halfway through it runs out of nail polish O_______O !
